ART TAPESTRY

When I created Tina Tictone studio, I had an idea in mind. Propose a hybrid universe where several mediums could coexist and create a dialogue. I started to learn a technique called tufting in 2021. I created my own weaving workshop in France and I had the chance to be trained in Morocco by my mentor Gian Carl Vergara who works for the brand Eugène .
I made a 2-meter-15-high tapestry in their workshop during my residency at the Montresso Foundation. Supported by a dozen Moroccan women who create rugs for luxury houses.
